ரிஷபம் (Rishabam)
Rishabam is an earth sign of fixed quality ruled by Sukra, and its natives are known for patience, endurance and an appreciation of comfort, beauty and good food. They build slowly and hold what they build; the corresponding caution is stubbornness and resistance to change once a position is taken. Diamond is the primary stone, set in platinum or white gold and worn on a Friday, with Agneeswarar Temple at Kanjanur as the temple of resort; white zircon and white sapphire serve as substitutes where budget matters. Emerald and blue sapphire are both friendly to this sign, while red coral and pearl are generally avoided. It is a strong sign for stones worn in gold jewellery rather than plain rings.
